History

TCP Cable, headquartered in Canada, more specifically in the Greater Montreal area, was formed in 2008 with the merger of Terminal & Cable TC Inc, founded in 1968, Prodam Inc, in existence since 1989, and Prodamex SA de CV, established in Mexico in 2007.

The new firm has brought together management, production and technical teams with a proven track record and more than 60 combined years of expertise in the manufacturing of wire harnesses, catering to the growing needs of the Specialty Automotive, Home Appliances, Industrial and Military industries.

Since its inception, TCP Cable has embarked in a period of innovation, steady growth and expansion resulting in the company becoming the second most important manufacturer of wire harnesses in Canada. It is also a leading provider of high quality wire harnesses to a large base of customers in the U.S. and on the international market.

TCP Cable operates one manufacturing plant in Canada with 150 employees, and two factories totalling over 450 employees in Mexico. With its state-of-the art facilities that focus on innovation, it is well positioned to answer the ever-expanding requirements of both its current and future clientele.
